LEVEL 1 CORRECTION DETAIL

This package is first of our comprehensive paint correction details and is designed to finish and enhance the paint by removing light to medium defects such as swirls marks, light to medium scratches etc which are preventing the paint from looking its best.

A comprehensive 27 Step process in three stages designed to restore and enhance the vehicle’s appearance to a great extent. This includes a One-Stage deep machine polish to remove medium to heavy swirls, scratches and blemishes, topped off with a protection of your choice. This detail will enormously enhance the condition of the paintwork due to the machine polishing stage with quality polishes and will bring back a showroom finish and shine with paintwork that has clarity and is smooth to the touch.

Stage 1

Decontamination - Cleaning Stage

Wheel faces deep cleaned using an acid free cleaner solution and rinsed
Wheel arches degreased, cleaned and pressure washed
Vehicle rinsed with pressure washer to remove loose dirt
Tar Spots removed
Iron Contamination/Fallout treated & removed
Badges and other tricky areas agitated with detailing brushes (or removed if required)*
Pre-wash with PH balanced snow foam and left to dwell
Vehicle rinsed with pressure washer
Exterior hand washed with shampoo using two bucket method and lamb’s wool mitt
Pressure washer rinse down
Vehicle dried with high quality towels and warm air
Paintwork and all Glass decontaminated using a Clay Bar
All door shuts cleaned

Stage 3

Enhancement / Protection Stage

Additional wipe down with IPA to remove oils and polish residue
A Pre Wax cleaner applied first to prepare for the waxing stage - unless customer opting for a glass or ceramic coating, see below
Quality wax with high carnauba content applied by hand for a deep rich shine - unless customer opting for a glass or ceramic coating, see options box below.
Paintwork further treated to a spray on gloss enhancer forming an additional protective layer and hydrophobic properties.
Exterior trim cleaned, degreased, dressed and Protected
Glass cleaned, polished and sealed with a water repellant coating
Wheel arches dressed
Tyres dressed with high quality Si02 dressing
Wheels sealed with high temperature sealant to protect against road salt, brake dust and corrosion (upgrade available, see Bolt On Options below)

Stage 2

Correction Stage

Paintwork inspected and paint depth measurements taken
IPA wipe down to remove all traces of old wax or polish
Test area to establish best abrasive polish and process used to achieve results involving a suitable Compound to remove defects,
Followed by a fine Polishing stage to finish and enhance the paintwork for maximum gloss

A Paint Enhancement detail with a single Machine Polish Stage to permanently remove light to medium scratches, blemishes and imperfections. A perfect detail for restoring neglected paintwork back to showroom condition

Please note:

Paint correction differs from vehicle to vehicle and is dependent on the level of defects present. In all cases paint gloss and shine will be greatly enhanced but deep visible defects may persist if they are too heavy to be removed without a multiple step polishing procedure which might be beyond the purpose of this particular detail.

We are always happy to liaise with you prior to undertaking any work to determine the best possible course of action. Any additional correction work will be charged accordingly with your full knowledge and agreement.

*Please be aware that new badges would need to be ordered from the relevant manufacturer at additional cost. We are happy to obtain a quotation for your approval prior to going ahead.
